a great motion shot, great colour costume

Giza plateau pyramids

A totally amazing shot, never ever saw the sky this blue, but it does add drama to the shot.

Menkaure Pyramid, special effects

the background definitely adds glamour to this pyramid shot. Joanot has created great shots.

Abu Simbel, close up

great shot but gives no indication of the scale of these, mounted in their new positions on the edge of lake Nasser.

karnak temple, created background

Wonderful shot of the sphinxes against modern created background

pyramid at dusk

Had to put this in, an amazing picture, the real sky is never this blue, too much pollution.

temple computer generated

Hard to imagine when doing the tours that the temples were once painted. Often only the tiniest traces of paint can be seen high in the celings.

stone sarcophagus, full view

another shot giving a more complete view.

stone sarcophagus

Actually saw this in museum in Canberra in January 08, amazing how they worked the stone on the inside and outside.

Learning 2.0

Currently on a steep learning curve. Finding out so much that is available on the web apart from the travel sites and banking which is what I mostly use the internet for. Had a bit of trouble trying to get the blog. forgot the step about the gmail. Intend to use the learning experience to put together something on Egypt and bellydancing my two passions of the moment. Couldn't think of anything library related yet. My next step is to learn how to post photos and videos to my site.
